National Speleology Congress 2024

Our colleagues participated in the National Speleology Congress where they presented the National Plan for Cave Conservation and the next stages of the process, carried out within the project “Conservation of habitat 8310 from the Natura 2000 Cheile Nerei-Beusnita Site”, funded by the LIFE Programme.

We participated in the exhibition, presentations, meetings, discussions, all useful and interesting for the LIFE project implemented by the Timis Environmental Protection Agency.

The National Speleology Congress was organized by the Silex Brașov Speleology Club, under the aegis of the Romanian Speleology Federation and took place between October 24-27, 2024 at Cheile Grădiștei – Fundata Complex, Bran-Moieciu area, Brașov county.

The 50th edition of the central event of Romanian speleology was addressed both to the speleological community and to those who want to learn more about the latest explorations in the country and get in touch with the caves.
