Friends of caves

Educational activities with youth

The specialists in the project presented to the students information about the karst relief, the basic elements of a cave (cave mouth, stalagmites, stalactites, gurus, draperies, wells, horns, siphons), were informed about the caves in the area and learned what to do to respect when visiting a cave.
Also, general information about chiropractors (bats) was presented, which means echolocation and why it is necessary to protect bats.

I broke the myth that bats attack people and get tangled in our hair.
At the end of the activity in each school, diplomas were awarded to the participating students and teachers, along with informative materials about caves and bats.
