EXHIBITION Banat AGRALIM, 26-28.05.2017, Timisoara

Between 26-28.05.2017 we participated at the 15th edition of the exhibition Banat AGRALIM organized by the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat, Timisoara Chamber of Commerce together with the County Council and City Hall of Timisoara, the main exhibition specialized addressed to agriculture, food and livestock organized in this area. The exhibition has a section on Research and Innovation – University Extension – Financing.

We exposed in a stand informative materials within our LIFE project about 8310 habitat conservation in Natura 2000 site Nera Gorges – Beuşniţa and information related to caves and bats. During three days ran our two documentaries: “Caves site Semenic Caras Gorge – peşetrile Europe” and “Protecting the habitat underground.

Participants were interested in the project activities; in particular, the possibility of visiting tourist caves in the area of project implementation. Generally, young people were interested in aspects of the lifestyle of bats.

We also disseminated information materials on the celebration of 25 years since the launch of the LIFE program and the Habitats Directive and LIFE information materials. Visitors to the stand were interested in the components of LIFE and LIFE funding mechanism and were interested in financing projects on ecological tourism.
