CONFERENCE National Action Plan for Habitat Conservation 8310, Brad August 25-29, 2021
Between August 28 and 29, 2021, I participated in the National Speleology Congress, organized by Polaris under the auspices of the Romanian Speleology Federation and the Speozarand Brad Mountain Association, in Brad, Hunedoara County.
During the scientific communication session, the National Action Plan for the Conservation of Habitat 8310 was debated. During the congress, we exhibited informative materials regarding the National Action Plan for the Conservation of Habitat 8310.
During the first three days of the congress, sightseeing tours were organized on the Grohot Plateau – Toplita Canyon, Ribicioarei Gorges; visit to Izvorul Toplitei Cave, Avenul Cizmei Cave, Visit to Urșilor Cave from Bulzești and Ponor Cave from Grohot, in the Apuseni Natural Park.
In the following three days, several types of activities were organized: scientific communication sessions, video projections, TSA (Alpine Speleological Techniques) competition. Throughout the congress, the SpeoArta opening was organized, part of the international speleological art festival, where speleologists exhibit/present photographs, slideshows and films. SpeoArta is a project that is organized annually within the National Speleology Congress, which brings together amateur speleologists, national speleology personalities, biologists, researchers and sympathizers to witness spectacular presentations of the silent world of the depths.
