Monday 22.04.2019, 11:00 – 12:00, in the interactive show “From man to man”.

In the first part of the show, interactive discussions took place regarding the history of the ecological event, PUNNTULUI DAY, which had as its theme in 2019 “Protect the species of our planet”. There were presented to the public aspects regarding the importance of protecting the planet and the environment against the aggressions of human activities, which lead to the decimation of the species of animals and plants.

In the second part of the show we discussed the importance of ecological education and the direct involvement of the Agency for Environmental Protection Timiş in organizing events dedicated to the protection and conservation of animal species and habitats. We made public the events organized by the Environmental Protection Agency Timiş from the ecological calendar: World Environment Day, International Biodiversity Day, World Wetlands Day, Forest Month, World Water Day, Bird Day, European Mobility Week, etc.

As well as the events organized within the LIFE project “Conservation of the 8310 habitat of the Natura 2000 Cheile Nerei Site – Beusnita”, of information, communication and ecological education with the young Friends of the caves, from the area of ​​project implementation. There were highlighted aspects regarding the need to protect the underground environment, that is to say habitat 8310, both as a habitat for several bat species and as a source of groundwater.
